“It is indeed a radical act of love just to sit down and be quiet a time by yourself.”
Jon Kabat-Zinn
I used “A piece of quiet” as a restful prelude to my violin practice earlier in the week. It was such a nourishing time of stillness for me to nurture my energy in before releasing it into sound. Thank you so much for creating a peaceful place to come back home to- it was such a gift. I think you might be my fairy godmother!

These are gentle, 30-minute gatherings, where we practice a short mindful reflection together, followed by Flow Journaling. I wanted to let you know how much these intentional pauses are helping me and, I feel, changing my life. Something about these intentional yet unassuming pieces of quiet is astounding to me. The combination of this weekly pause, along with your gentle presence & wise, compassionate guidance means that I look forward to every single week (I cant believe we have done 10! ) It feels so new & revelatory - I think of them like a little hammock supporting me, holding me - it's like a pocketful of peace that I can access and use anytime. I honestly feel that this practice has begun to open me up and has touched me more in ten weeks than 3 years of (albeit irregular) counselling has done. Truly, it feels like a sacred pause.
